ChargePoint Technology approached B&M Waste Services to help develop a waste management strategy that would improve waste segregation and increase recycling levels across their Liverpool site.
After B&M Waste Services conducted a waste audit at the ChargePoint facility, plans were approved to segregate all paper & cardboard waste from the mixed municipal waste.
All paper & cardboard is sent for recycling. The MMW is sent to B&M’s facility where more recyclable waste is extracted and sent for recycling. Residual waste is used to create electriciy at a refuse derived fuel plant.
