Education VR Project Launch

Managing Director of B&M Waste Services, Mick Ashall, and other representatives from Beauparc Group travelled to Parliament on 18th May 2022 to meet with the Minister for DEFRA, The Rt. Hon. Jo Churchill MP and the Minister of State for School Standards, The Rt. Hon. Robin Walker MP to present an AI intuitive VR platform that offers users an interactive and educational virtual reality (VR) tour of our state-of-the-art mixed and plastic recycling recovery plant in Barkston, Lincs.

This VR platform was developed during the pandemic when face-to-face education in schools and colleges was suspended and physical tours of the facility weren’t possible. It aims to remotely teach adults and school children about the importance of recycling and sustainability, highlighting important aspects of health and safety and hazard awareness.
