Tranmere Rovers Football Club is today delighted to announce a brand new, three year front of shirt partnership with Bromborough head-quartered company B&M Waste Services.
From next season, B&M Waste will be replacing current front of shirt partner Home Bargains whose three year agreement is coming to its conclusion in June.
The new agreement will see B&M’s swan logo on the front of Tranmere’s new Puma shirts on both the home and away shirts and the training kit for the first team and the development squad.
B&M Waste Services offer recycling-led waste management solutions to businesses and recently celebrated its 60th birthday, having been incorporated in July 1954. The company is family owned and operated, has strong Wirral roots and has now expanded its operations nationally across the UK.
The shared strong Wirral heritage and sense of community were key factors in the decision of the Club and B&M Waste to forge the new partnership. The commitment of both parties to working together for the benefit not only of the Club, but also for Wirral residents will be demonstrated through the involvement of B&M Waste in a number of the Club’s community initiatives over the coming years, including projects with the homeless and the socially excluded.
Chairman Mark Palios said “It was important to us to get the right partner and from the very first meeting we held it was obvious that there were a great number of parallels in what we are both trying to do, and that by working together we can help each other to achieve our goals. B&M Waste Services is a very successful Wirral business which is now making a real mark on a national level, without losing its commitment to its own community and as such we have many shared values and aspirations. I am very much looking forward to working with them.”
David Curtis, Director at B&M Waste Services, said “In recent years we have grown from a small Wirral business to an award-winning player on a national scale, but we remain entirely committed to our ethical values and to contributing to our local community. “
Graham Curtis, Director of B&M Waste Services commented “Partnering with Tranmere Rovers will give us additional national brand exposure but, more importantly, a platform to work together to support the Wirral community in key projects which are close to our hearts. We hope to forge a partnership which will benefit both the footballing side of the Club and the expansion of its community initiatives.”
Tranmere Rovers Commercial Manager, David Broadbent, said “We are very grateful to Home Bargains for the fantastic support they have shown the Club over the course of the last three years. Home Bargains will always be welcome at Tranmere and we are very thankful for all they have done for us.”
This agreement commences from June 1, 2016 and will initially run until May 31, 2019
