Charity Ball Held at Thornton Hall

A charity ball took place at Thornton Hall last month in honour of Anthony Cope, who lost his battle against cancer in December.

The ball raised over £13,000 for Wirral Hospice and Mesothelioma UK, and was attended by over 200 guests, including many of Anthony’s friends and family. One of his daughters Anna said Anthony was an “inspirational father, loving husband to my mother and dear friend to all”.

Anna’s husband, B&M director Paul Curtis, and several other B&M staff attended the ball, which featured a red carpet and champagne reception, a three course meal and live music by Tequila, followed by a charity auction. The compere for the evening was Mark Jones from Radio City.
