It is with great pride that we can announce that we have been shortlisted for a fantastic three Echo Environment Awards.

The Echo Environment Awards, hosted by the Liverpool Echo celebrates the very best of Environmental, Health and Well-being achievement across Merseyside. B&M Waste Services are finalists in the Green Business of the Year, CSR and Environmental Champion categories.

As a Wirral-based, family-owned and operated company we are committed to making a difference in the local communities in which we operate. We were one of the UK’s very first carbon-neutral waste management companies and believe in setting an example with our own environmental performance and supporting our customers to do the same.

Established in 1954, B&M have always had the ethos to employ locally, and give back to the local community. Not only do we work at ensuring our waste minimisation, reuse and recycling initiatives provide the most sustainable waste solution to over 7000 businesses across the region; we also ensure that our own environmental impact is minimal and have reduced our carbon footprint by 30% since 2011, despite ongoing company growth.

The latest in a line of award successes, B&M Waste was previously named Environmental Business of the Year at the 2014 Echo Environment Awards and secured the Environmental and Sustainability Award at the Liverpool Business Awards in 2019.

The event will be held in September at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Stanley Park, Liverpool.
