B&M Waste Services has been awarded a new three-year local authority contract for street sweeping by North Kesteven District Council.
The six-figure deal will see B&M – one of the UK’s largest independent waste, recycling and drainage specialists – providing road sweeping and cleaning services throughout mid-Lincolnshire.
B&M has been retained by North Kesteven District Council since 1996, which is testament to its high quality and levels of customer service.
Graham Curtis, B&M director, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract, particularly as we were tendering against other leading businesses in our field. We have built up a strong relationship with the district council and feel that this, allied with our first class delivery and local knowledge, gave us a real edge.
“This is another significant contract win and continues the business’s very positive start to 2014. We are continually looking at ways to innovate and expand, while keeping a strong focus on client relationships and customer service.”
B&M Waste Services provides total waste management solutions for local authorities, public sector organisations and businesses across the UK. The business employs more than 170 people with offices in Merseyside, Manchester, Leeds and Norwich.
Graham Curtis added: “Our drainage and street cleaning services are a key part of the business and we have a range of contracts with councils and local authorities throughout England. We have invested millions of pounds in state-of-the-art industrial cleaning vehicles which enables us to complete projects quickly and efficiently across large geographical areas and highway networks.
“This is turn saves our clients money and ensures that they fulfil their responsibilities to keep the streets clean and clear of excess drainage and rainwater.”
