Wirral-based Caldy Rugby Club is the latest local organisation to benefit from the sponsorship of B&M Waste Services; a fellow Wirral-based business committed to supporting the communities within which they operate.
Founded in 1924, the club has grown extensively since its conception, now with 16 teams including one for children as young as 6, as well as a Touch Women team.
Speaking on behalf of Caldy Rugby Club, Chairman Jed Bartley said; “Caldy RFC are delighted to partner with B&M and really value their support, both financial and otherwise. Our 1st XV might play in National One, the third tier of English rugby, although here at Caldy we remain a local family rugby club committed to community and to opening up sport to a wider audience at all ages and all levels. Like B&M we are passionate about making a difference and I think these shared values are part of the reason why our partnership works so well.”
David Carter, Account Manager at B&M Waste said; “As a family-run business, we believe that supporting the community is essential. Caldy Rugby Club is a prime example of a local organisation making a difference and we’re proud to support that through our sponsorship.”
