We are pleased to announce that following a successful audit for the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme, we have retained our status as an Accredited Vehicle Operator, having achieved all standards required by the DVSA.
B&M Waste is classed as a highly compliant company in terms of fleet management and other standards and our vehicles are therefore less likely to be stopped for roadside inspections. Having been the first company in the waste management sector to receive the accreditation back in 2019, we remain only one of three UK companies in our industry to achieve the marque.
B&M Director, Graham Curtis, commented: “Although a lot of hard work goes into this scheme every day by the members of the Fleet Management team, it is in the run up to the audit that an enormous amount of information and evidence needs to be compiled and presented to the DVSA. It is so worthwhile however, as we are recognised as one of the safest operators in the UK.”
B&M Waste have always invested heavily in vehicles. The fleet includes the very latest low emission Euro 6 Engine Vehicles, which also have many additional safety features including multiple live cameras, cycle safe lower entry cabs and cycle/pedestrian under-sun protection.
