Continuing to remain ahead of the game, Carbon Neutral B&M Waste Services this week launched their state of the art innovation in recycling centre, ‘Milner House’, based in Bromborough, Wirral. Over 650 m2 of information, activities and equipment will be the one stop shop for businesses wanting to improve their approach to waste management in their school, hospital, retail outlet, manufacturing outlet, office or other business.
The layout of the facility allows those visiting to go on a ‘waste journey’ to understand from start to finish what they can do when working with B&M Waste, in order to reduce their waste costs, and minimise the environmental impact of their waste.
B&M Waste have a zero waste to landfill policy, are fully accredited as Carbon Neutral to PAS 2060 standards, as well as further assessed to PAS 402 level. All of which means their customers are assured by using their service, they are doing the absolute best to protect the environment.
Neil Curtis, Managing Director at B&M Waste Services said “The road to recycling isn’t always easy, which is why we’re making it simpler as we invite you to take a tour of our brand new innovation centre. This hub is geared up to educate not only schools and those in the education sector, but businesses who want to understand more about moving up the waste hierarchy, reducing waste output and recycling more using the very latest techniques and technology to assist.”
Jayne Kennedy, Marketing Manager at B&M Waste said “We’ve named the innovation centre – Milner House – after our long-standing Sales Director Terry Milner. He’s been a considerable part in the growth of B&M Waste and after 25 years service will be retiring later this year. He’s a terrific innovator and mentor and with that in mind we hope that Milner House will be testament to that, as we invite schools, colleges and businesses to visit and learn about the very latest recycling innovations. We’ve already had plenty of enquiries and look forward to ‘talking rubbish’ with even more people following the launch this week.”
Doctor Wendy Buckley of Carbon Footprint said “The show room is a fantastic resource not only to show case their innovative technologies but for education purposes for clients and children. It really shows Bagnall & Morris is committed to educate each generation on being sustainable.”
