Carbon Neutral waste management company B&M Waste Services are furthering their commitment to their employees by making training and educational opportunities more readily available.Staff training

B&M take pride in offering employees the chance to push themselves and further their education and training. Offering additional training makes for a happier and safer workplace. B&M Waste Services currently have 10 employees training for a range of different NVQ’s including customer service and team Leader qualifications that will further their knowledge and expertise in their specialised areas. One employee in particular has been given the opportunity to complete a three year course in Procurement and Supply Chain Operations, all of which has been funded by B&M Waste Services. A lot of staff can be put off attending extra training or courses due to the additional costs involved, which is why it’s important for businesses to follow the same path as B&M Waste and offer them the chance to further their knowledge with courses funded by the company. It’s beneficial for both employers and employees in the long term.

Award customer focussed businessWith National Apprenticeship Week underway it’s important that B&M Waste provide support and offer experience for those that need it. Apprenticeships have a positive impact not only on the individuals who gain experience and qualifications, but for businesses and the wider economy. This is why B&M Waste offer apprenticeships within a range of departments across the business. As covered by many publications and articles over the past few years it’s becoming increasingly difficult, especially for young people, to get a job or work experience.
