Carbon Neutral waste management company B&M Waste Services are furthering their commitment to their employees by making training and educational opportunities more readily available.
B&M take pride in offering employees the chance to push themselves and further their education and training. Offering additional training makes for a happier and safer workplace. B&M Waste Services currently have 10 employees training for a range of different NVQ’s including customer service and team Leader qualifications that will further their knowledge and expertise in their specialised areas. One employee in particular has been given the opportunity to complete a three year course in Procurement and Supply Chain Operations, all of which has been funded by B&M Waste Services. A lot of staff can be put off attending extra training or courses due to the additional costs involved, which is why it’s important for businesses to follow the same path as B&M Waste and offer them the chance to further their knowledge with courses funded by the company. It’s beneficial for both employers and employees in the long term.

Mick Ashall Director of B&M Waste Services said ‘Providing these opportunities for staff ensures motivation and the very best customer service possible. As a national company with a family run ethos our staff have always been top priority. We know from a commercial point of view this leads to benefits to our customers, as better trained staff deliver a better service. We continue to invest in our staff and are proud to have attained the prestigious accolades of Customer Focused Business, and Employer of the Year.”
