B&M Waste Services is the North West’s first in the industry to receive DVSA ‘Earned Recognition’ accreditation

DVSA earned recognition for vehicle operators is a new way to prove an organisation meets driver & vehicle standards.

The marque will act as a symbol of its’ high standard that DVSA wishes to see across all sectors of the industry. This accreditation means that B&M Waste are classed as a highly compliant company in terms of fleet management and other standards. B&M will therefore be less likely to be stopped for roadside inspections.

To become accredited, B&M Waste were externally audited by a third party. They also invested in software that reports automatically to DVSA if any performance indicators are missed, such as tacho downloads or maintenance inspections. Compliance will be re-assessed every 2 years.

B&M Waste have always invested heavily in vehicles. The fleet includes the very latest low emission Euro 6 Engine Vehicles, which also have many additional safety features including multiple live cameras, cycle safe lower entry cabs and cycle/pedestrian under-sun protection.
