The solution

Implementing a completely new waste strategy to the building, B&M Waste Services spent time analysing the waste streams produced by tenants in the building, to ensure that the correct innovations are put into place.

Now segregating food, glass, card and general waste, Number One Kirkstall Forge allows tenants to use all possible recycling streams to their full potential. With future plans to implement a waste monitor, bin press and electric vehicles, the recycling future is looking bright for the development.

Introducing a waste monitor is a fantastic way to monitor tenants’ waste. With clear and comparable data available to see the streams of waste being recycled from each office, incentives and waste reduction tips can be offered when and where necessary.
