Chloe Evans and Helen Franklin, who both work for B&M Waste Services, and were part of the four-strong B&M tough mudder 2015 team, have today handed over a cheque for £2,120 to Kirsty Simpson from Claire House Children’s Hospice. The B&M team raised £1,060 which the company kindly matched to give a total of £2,120 for their nominated charity.
Chloe commented “Being part of the B&M Tough Mudder 2015 team was really tough – but really good fun, we laughed our way round. We were all exhausted at the end but really proud to have raised over £1,000 and are very grateful to the B&M Waste Services Chairman, Ken Curtis, for matching the amount to give a total of £2,120.”
Helen also commented ” I really enjoyed being part of the B&M Tough Mudder 2015 team, even the electric shock obstacle was fun, and I will be signing up again next year. Hopefully we can expand the team and raise even more money for Claire House.”
Claire House Children’s Hospice has been one of B&M Waste Services supported charities for many years, raising over £40,000 so far. Claire House Children’s Hospice is also one of B&M Waster Services nominated charities for 2015.
