Wirral based B&M Waste Services, Tranmere Rovers’ front of shirt sponsor, will be rooting for the team as they hit Wembley this Sunday. In their bid for promotion, Tranmere Rovers will be travelling with an army of fans, many of them employees at B&M Waste, to Wembley seeking success and promotion this weekend.
As a Wirral based company, who were established in Wirral in 1954, their roots are firmly set in the area, and they are immensely proud of the Tranmere lads in their efforts so far this season. David Curtis, Director and part of the Curtis family who own and operate the waste management company said “It’s great to see our local Wirral team doing so well. We will be there Sunday, and hoping for a win. Well done lads for getting this far, you can do it!”
B&M work across the Wirral and North West, encouraging businesses to recycle more, and avoiding waste to landfill at all costs. The family-run company are heavily involved in the local Wirral community, being founder patrons of ‘The Hive Youth Zone”, raising nearly £50,000 through various sporting and volunteering challenges for Claire House and supporting Stick ‘n’ Step by sponsoring a child’s place for the year. Additionally, B&M Waste are main sponsors of Tranmere’s Green Rover initiative, which assists local schools and businesses in doing their bit to be more environmentally friendly and reduce bills at the same time.
You can spot B&M’s ‘big yellow trucks’ across the region, which are used to promote the good causes they support, and also collect and recycle business waste.
Dave concluded by saying “We’re hoping for a win Sunday, and are fully behind Mark and the team’s efforts. Go Tranmere!”
