On 22nd July B&M Waste Services team members are taking on the mammoth challenge of cycling 300 miles from London to Paris for B&M Waste Services’ nominated charity Claire House.
Starting in London they’ll go through the beautiful Surrey countryside and onto Portsmouth, where they’ll take the ferry to Caen in Northern France. The route passes France’s quaint villages and wide open fields, ending in Paris at the Eiffel Tower!
To top it off, the finish will coincide with the Tour de France where they’ll have the opportunity to watch the iconic event as it reaches it’s climax on the Champs Elysees.
This epic challenge is being taken with the entire purpose of raising funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice
“Claire House is a charity close to B&M’s hearts. They provide a home-from-home environment for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions. This is what our focus will be to keep going on our challenge”
“It’ll be a tough challenge but the funds we raise for this very special charity are what will make it all worthwhile. We’re just praying for good weather!”
Offering respite, end-of-life care and support for the entire family, the positive outlook that Claire House takes is truly inspirational and their specialist nursing team provides one-to-one care for the individuals staying there, as well as providing a Hospice to Home scheme.
