
Founder Patrons and Supporters so that they could look around and see The Hive, and experience Wirral’s Youth Zone in action. Many staff from B&M attended this event to show their support.

Over and above the financial support that B&M is providing, its staff are also looking forward to volunteering after attending a training day at the centre.
Graham Curtis, Director at B&M Waste Services said “We are proud to be supporters of The Hive, it’s been an honour to see the journey from start to finish. It’s great that we are able to ensure the young people of Wirral can have a brighter future, we are putting our full support behind the Youth Zone.’’

commented “This is a really exciting time! It only feels like yesterday when they started building The Hive and we were given a tour when it was just walls and concrete floor. We have the official big opening this Saturday 8th April, I can’t wait to volunteer at The Youth Zone.’’
The Hive will cost £1million per year to run and this will be through a combination of public sector and private sector funding. Over the coming months, 50% of the running costs will be secured through the local business community. Businesses of all sizes and sectors have signed up already and are keen to contribute to shape the future of the borough’s young people.
