Further supporting the local areas in which they operate, waste management company, B&M Waste Services, are the recycling partner for the New Ferry Rangers Football Festival this weekend (22nd-23rd June).
The New Ferry Rangers Football Festival has been one of the biggest football tournaments in the North West for the past 6 years, with more than 200 teams to play during the weekend-long event.
New Ferry Rangers was formed in 2006 by Chairman, Simon Crabtree, to give children in the area a football team to play for and be proud of. Originally started with just a single team of Under 9’s, the club has grown over the past 13 years into a thriving academy.
Working as recycling partners to the event, B&M Waste Services will ensure that all waste produced on the day is diverted from landfill. The Carbon Neutral waste management company have a ‘zero to landfill’ promise, instead sending any waste that cannot be recycled to RDF (refuse derived fuel) facilities. Here, energy is harnessed from waste, a much cleaner alternative from landfill.
Commenting on the partnership, Graham Curtis, Director of B&M Waste Services, said: ‘B&M Waste services are looking forward to supporting The New Ferry Rangers Football Festival as recycling partners. As a family-run business, we always look to support to local community and this partnership is a glowing example of that.”
New Ferry Rangers Chairman Simon Crabtree said “We would like to thank B&M Waste, a fantastic community supporting business, for their amazing gesture as main sponsors of the New Ferry Rangers Football Festival”
