B&M Waste Staff Smash Bikeathon Goal for Bloodwise

Sunday 10^th June saw B&M Waste directors, Ken and Graham Curtis, plus Business Development Manager, Jeff Horton, take on the 20^th annual Wirral Bikeathon, cycling 28 miles across the scenic Wirral – all in aid of Bloodwise, the blood cancer research charity.

£45,000 was pledged on 10th June this year, meaning the event has now raised a total of £965,000 over the years for this extremely important charity.

As for our B&M participants, the team aimed to raise £1200 through their Just Giving page. However, they smashed their target, managing to raise a whopping £2400!

Keen cyclist and B&M Waste Director, Graham Curtis, commented; “It’s a fantastic event and wonderful cause. We’re so proud to have been able to contribute towards its success and we hope to do the same for many years to come!”.
