B&M Waste Hits 100% in 50/50 Challenge for Crisis!

Further supporting their national nominated charity, Crisis, B&M Waste Services recently rallied a team of volunteers to take on the 50/50 Challenge; an initiative encouraging people to rack up 50 miles’ worth of activity in 50 days, raising critical funds for the homelessness charity along the way. The team smashed the target, raising an incredible £2190.21.

From running to cycling, walking and even spacehopping – yes, spacehopping! – the team accumulated a whopping 269 miles between them over the course of the 50 days. Naturally, racking up a mile on a spacehopper around the grounds of the B&M Waste head office in the Wirral was a highlight!

B&M Waste Director – and 50/50 participant, Mick Ashall commented; “The challenge has been a fantastic way to promote Crisis and raise funds for the important work that they do. It’s also supported our internal initiative, B&M Wellbeing, which promotes staff health – both physical and mental.”
