Here at B&M, we support Claire House and always have as part of our history. We aren’t afraid of getting our hands dirty and in addition to donating regularly to Claire House, we also wanted to give some of our time to help out where we could. Last week, some of the B&M team, including Paul Curtis, Director of B&M Secure Shredding, spent a day at the Claire House headquarters in Wirral and luckily the sun had made an appearance!
Our main task for the day was to build a shed so Phil and Paul immediately busied themselves with the important job of laying the foundations for the shed, a task they took very seriously:
Meanwhile, the ladies got busy painting the fences:
It was tougher than it seemed: the paint was drying so quickly in the heat that it was tricky to see where was left to do!
With the foundations securely laid, it was time to get building the shed.
And here’s the team with the finished result: the shed will be used to collect donations left for the Claire House charity shops. A brilliant day was had by all and we would like to thank Claire House for letting B&M come along!
