B&M Waste Services, Tranmere Rovers, Tranmere Rovers in the Community and Sports Enviro Ltd are delighted to announce an innovative new project to deliver an energy and environmental awareness programme throughout Wirral.
Our aim is simple: we want to help businesses, schools, colleges, charities and individuals to reduce their energy costs, reduce their carbon footprint and minimise their energy use to help to develop a greener Wirral community.
We will engage with hundreds of businesses, schools, colleges, charities and individuals through our Green Rover initiative and our innovative range of educational and awareness workshops to be held across Wirral.
Tranmere Rovers Vice Chairman Nicola Palios said: “We are delighted to announce this new project. We will be looking at ways we can become more environmentally friendly and also want to help the local community improve their carbon footprint for the benefit of everyone.
B&M Waste Services Director Terry Milner said: “With over 60 years experience and long standing partnerships with many businesses and educational establishments in the area, we want to ensure we impart our knowledge about sustainable and carbon neutral waste management and recycling to allow local businesses the opportunity to reduce their costs and also their environmental impact.”
Phil Hawthorne, Director at Sure Save Energy said: “Many companies are unaware of the savings they can make in their energy costs and through Green Rovers, we hope to help them reduce their bills.”
